Where Señor Salme’s obsession with astronauts starts looking pretty scary
A. took some photos of me while inking. She shot my bad profile, you know. I didn’t even know that I hold the brush like that until I saw this picture. You can see my beloved inkwell there, which is possibily the best shopping I’ve ever done.

That book on the table, just at the bottom of the image, is the Spacesuits collection from the Smithsonian. It shipped a couple of days ago and, believe me, it’s just amazing. Lots of pictures of every single spacesuit used by NASA. I’m becoming nerd enough to tell the difference between a Mercury project suit and a Gemini project one. That won’t make me more popular at social meetings, I guess.

Speaking of astronauts… It’s been a while since my embarrasing first attempt at clay modelling. I decided to give it another go, but this time I moved to the much more friendly SuperSculpey polimer clay. No, wait, it isn’t SuperSculpey, it’s something called Living Doll, wich I have been told is a slight variation of basically the same thing. Whatever. So, I’ve made this (poorly polished) astronaut head:

Don’t look at me like that, dear worthy reader; I’m quite proud of it actually.
