My dear bilingual Anonymous, I’m afraid I’m not the right person to ask advice about pen inking. I use a brush for almost all of my inking, even for those parts which are supposed to be done with radiographs. That’s why I never get a straight line, I guess. I’ve tried different pen nibs and I have in fact a bunch of them, but I never actually learned how to get decent line variation with any of them. Of course, my lack of hability shouldn’t discourage you from destroying another good deal of quill pens until you get the hang of it. No please. Take a look to this nice tutorial by Kazu Kibuishi in case you haven’t done yet, you will probably get some wise tips.

If you browse some previous posts in this blog you will find some information about the brushes and inks I use, but nevertheless I’m planning to write a more comprehensive post about my prefered tools. So please look forward to it.
