Where Señor Salme finds an excuse to show his iPad

Though most of what you see in this blog is personal work, I also do illustrations for clients from time to time. It doesn’t happen as often as I would like, since that’s not my main source of income (or else I would have been driven to starvation long ago). Besides, a good deal of what I do for clients has clear style requirements which make my drawings look like they were done by someone else -so most of the time, just for the sake of consistence, I don’t feel like showing them here.

I’ve done a number of drawings for the nice people at Project Magazine, an iPad-based publication. These are a couple of them, which were included in issue #7, and they actually look quite Señor Salme, if that makes any sense.

This one was for a feature about sci-fi writer China Meiville. I should draw spaceships more often.

Yes, if you look carefully those are Toy Story characters being, well, deported. It was for a feature about crazy film theories.

I was rather happy with these, actually, so I thought I’d post them before they become old work.
